My name is Nicole Frechette and I am a Production Stage Manager from Rhode Island. Thank you for checking out my little piece of the online universe! Feel free to browse through the tabs regarding my resume, education, or past experience and please contact me if you have any questions!

I got a dual undergraduate degree (summa cum laude) from Rhode Island College in both theatre and history in 2006 and got my MLIS from the University of Rhode Island in 2010. While at RIC, I worked as a “RAT” (Roberts Auditorium Technical Assistant) for three years and worked on a variety of Growing Stage and Mainstage productions as a stage manager, including: Greater Tuna, Equus, The Misanthrope, The Pirates of Penzance, and All My Sons. Since graduation, I have been hired in to mentor other Stage Managers at Rhode Island college and am now on the Adjunct Faculty.

I have been the Resident Stage Manager and Administrative Director for Kaleidoscope Theatre based out of Cranston, RI since 2005. Outside of Kaleidoscope, I was the alumni advisor for the Lincoln Middle School drama club for ten years, and have worked on several local productions, including Talk Radio, produced by Daydream Theatre, The Compleat Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), produced by Epic Theatre Company and Miss Saigon with Encore Repertory Co. I've also recently gained a lot of experience working on dance productions having stage managed for the RIC Dance Company, Fusionworks Dance, The State Ballet of Rhode Island, Festival Ballet Providence and Providence Ballet Theatre.

This past summer, I had the opportunity to be the Production Stage Manager for the Clinton Area Showboat Theatre in Clinton, IA. We did 6 shows in 12 weeks and it was a wonderfully rewarding experience. I hope to do more summerstock work in the future.
